Looking to downsize and get my house back. There are records stored all over the house and more at a storage unit,
*** Description ***
Lots of vintage vinyl going tack to the early 1900’s with the ¼” thick Edison records. Many of these Edisons do not have labels.
78’s perhaps 40 album sets of the 78’s from the 1930’s-50’s, with “Good Girl” art and attractive covers, in good condition. Some larger binders, perhaps 500+ 78’s altogether.
10-12 carry packs, “Teen Totes,” “Disco-Go-Let’s” “Platter Pak” for 45’s most packed with 45’s, a couple of them with contents indexed and cataloged
33-1/3
LP’s – 700-800 - most of them from the “Hippie”
era. Psychedelia.
LSD led to an explosion of creativity in the
musical entertainment industry.
Being a keyboardist who played in
rock bands of that era, I tended to collect those types of records.
There are a few Country and earlier pre-rock 1950’s LP,’s
too, and some religious. There are 30-40 Elvis LP’s
45’s.
Lost track of counting these. I estimate 1500-2000. Majority are
unsleeved, but there are hundreds with generic record company brand
sleeve (like “Electra” or “Reprise”) and a
couple hundred with the original photo or illustrated sleeve.
Elvis and The Beatles, there has to be at least a hundred of them, going
back to “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” Some of the earlier
45’s are in cardboard-type “sleeves” or they may be
45-sized 78’s or 33’s.
Includes five wire racks that facilitate quick access and open display of your 45’s.
One record player “Vanity Fair” is displayed here, but there are 3 more (with no photos here) at another storage unit and a couple additional in the garage. They were called “portable” but some require a plug in cord.
Childrens – lots of red, yellow green and blue records with bright labels -78’s, 33’s and 45’s, of all sizes. “Talking Stories”, booklets with records.
Eight-Tracks – a box of these, too, mostly Elvis. And some cassettes and Reel-2-Reel Tapes.
If interested please call/text 620-757-5160 (Jim). Or send an email to fairbro@gmail.com. You are welcome to come and look. Not interested in piecing it out.
